Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue03:15 PM - 11:30 PMThur03:15 PM - 11:30 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:15 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including sales floor areas, receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter points, with attention to unusual activity and policy violations. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, support access control practices, and report suspicious behavior and/or potential hazards. Carry assigned post equipment, including authorized defensive tools, in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site policies, and complete required reports, logs, and shift communications accurately and on time. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
