Secur-IT is now recruiting for Elite Security Door Supervisor’s that can demonstrate the confidence, experience, drive, flexibility and determination to provide the highest standards of customer service and staff safety within a high end venue in the city centre.
The role is part-time and the hours that require working are mainly during the daytime, although some early evening work may be required. The days of work can vary, mainly weekends but also weekdays may need working.
You will require a Smartphone for this role.
You will be part of a team working for an established venue and mainly be based at one venue, however as part of your role you may be required to work at other local venues for the brand and Secur-it.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS TO DELIVER AN EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT SERVICE TO THE CLIENT.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Assertiveness and confidence to deal with difficult situations
  • Capability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player
  • A pro-active, “can-do” attitude
  • Frontline Door Supervision or Close Protection licence is essential.
  • A proven track record within the security industry or related services.

Responsibilities

AS A SECURITY OFFICER FOR SECUR-IT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Ensuring the safety of colleagues and customers.
  • The physical security of the venue.
  • Providing a polite, visible presence on the front door.
  • Assisting the management team and colleagues,
  • Protecting and safeguarding the company assets
  • General Health and Safety on site.

THESE DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO,

  • Protect customers and colleagues from physical and verbal abuse,
  • Deter violence and public order offences
  • Respond to any incident or request for assistance on-site and assume control until the arrival of the Emergency Services or Duty Manager if required.
  • Reporting of all incidents & intelligence data using a smart device promptly
