Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri02:45 PM - 11:30 PMSat02:45 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a busy retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for security-related concerns, assisting with crowd management, disorderly conduct, and/or policy enforcement. Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing customer and employee activity, reporting unusual incidents, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
