Description The Elmwood Shelter Services Provider will provide comprehensive housing case management services to individuals experiencing homelessness and living at the Elmwood Shelter, with a focus on supporting those with complex needs. Advocate on behalf of clients with local social service agencies, landlords, and funding sources to facilitate access to housing and essential resources. Assist residents with attending critical appointments and navigating community services. Develop and coordinate community-building within the shelter to foster engagement, stability, and supportive living environment. Please view our full job description: Elmwood Shelter Services Provider Requirements Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline plus two years of community service experience or combination of education and experience from which comparable skills and knowledge have been acquired. Experience with database entry and office technology. Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment Knowledge of homelessness, recovery, housing resources, and best practices in integrated care (e.g. trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented systems of care, harm reduction) Effective verbal and written communication skills required bilingual abilities are a plus. Clean driving records, valid driver’s license, and access to reliable private transportation must be maintained and ability and willingness to travel within the CVOEO service area.
