Description

The ELV Systems Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting, designing, and selling integrated ELV solutions, including but not limited to CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, BMS, SMATV, and structured cabling systems. This role combines technical expertise with sales skills to identify customer needs, prepare proposals, and close deals while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities for ELV systems.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, consultants, and contractors.
Respond to RFQs, RFPs, and tenders with detailed technical and commercial proposals.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with customers.
Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
Technical & Design Support
Assess client requirements and recommend suitable ELV solutions.
Work with design teams to prepare system drawings, BOQs, and compliance documents.
Ensure proposed solutions comply with industry standards and project specifications.
Coordinate with engineering and project teams for smooth handover post-sales.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong, long-term client relationships to secure repeat business.
Provide post-sales technical support and assist with problem resolution.
Conduct site visits when necessary to better understand project requirements.
Market Research & Reporting
Monitor competitor activities and market trends in the ELV sector.

Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.

Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Communications, or related field.
2–5+ years’ experience in ELV systems sales or related technical sales roles.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets within the ELV or low-voltage industry.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of ELV systems: CCTV, ACS, Fire Alarm, BMS, SMATV, Intercom, PA/BGM, and Structured Cabling.
Familiarity with relevant standards (NFPA, BS, local civil defense regulations, etc.).
Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving ability with technical aptitude.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and ELV design tools.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Environment
Office-based with frequent client visits and occasional site work.

May require travel within the assigned sales territory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
