Role Overview We're looking for an experienced Email & Lifecycle Marketing Strategist to join our team. You'll own end-to-end email marketing strategy and execution for multiple DTC and eCommerce brands—developing automated flows, campaigns, and retention programs that drive measurable revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in an agency, freelance, or multi-client environment and thrives when managing email programs across several brands simultaneously. You're not just a campaign builder—you're a strategic partner who understands how email fits into the broader customer lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Own email strategy for multiple client accounts — developing monthly plans, campaign calendars, and long-term retention roadmaps Build and optimize automated flows — welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, and lifecycle sequences in Klaviyo Analyze performance and report insights — translate data into actionable recommendations that improve open rates, CTR, conversions, and revenue Collaborate cross-functionally — work with copywriters, designers, and project managers to ensure campaigns are on-brand and on-time Develop advanced segmentation strategies — leverage RFM analysis, behavioral triggers, and audience insights to maximize engagement QA campaigns before launch — ensure flawless execution with attention to links, personalization, mobile responsiveness, and tracking Stay current with email marketing trends — bring fresh ideas and best practices to continuously improve our clients' programs What We're Looking For Required: 2+ years of email marketing experience, preferably in an agency, freelance, or multi-client setting Proficiency in Klaviyo — you've built flows, managed campaigns, and can navigate the platform confidently DTC/eCommerce experience — you understand the customer journey for online brands and how email drives revenue Track record of results — you can point to campaigns or programs where you drove measurable growth (revenue, engagement, retention) Strong analytical skills — comfortable with data, A/B testing, and translating metrics into strategy Excellent communication — clear, professional communication with clients and teammates Nice to Have: Experience with SMS marketing (Klaviyo SMS, Postscript, Attentive) Familiarity with subscription/retention tools like ReCharge Knowledge of email copywriting and design principles Experience with project management tools like Notion, ClickUp, or Asana Familiarity with Slack for team communication Our Core Values Stay Curious — Always learning, testing, and improving Stay Humble — Open to feedback and being a good teammate Own It — Taking responsibility for problems, results, and processes Be Transparent — Open and honest communication Be Fearless — Thinking outside the box for big wins Why Sweat Pants Agency?
