Role Overview Mint Source is hiring an Email Marketing Account Manager to own execution and direction for a large, high-demand fitness account within an email marketing agency. This role is built for someone who understands fitness culture, gym businesses, and performance-driven brands, not just email metrics. You’ll own priorities, decisions, and direction across email campaigns and lifecycle programs built in Klaviyo. Success in this role means bringing clarity, structure, and strong judgment to a complex fitness account while confidently leading both internal execution and client-facing conversations. What You’ll Do Own execution and direction for a high-touch fitness account spanning multiple gym locations Lead client conversations with confidence, grounded in a real understanding of fitness, gym culture, and performance-driven brands Oversee email campaigns and lifecycle programs built in Klaviyo, ensuring quality and alignment before launch Translate fitness-specific goals, promotions, and brand expectations into clear direction for designers, copywriters, and email specialists Review email campaigns and lifecycle programs to ensure they match the client’s fitness aesthetic and brand standards Make judgment calls on scope, sequencing, and priorities to keep work moving forward Identify issues early and resolve them without escalation Push back when needed and guide decisions based on what will actually perform for a fitness audience Maintain clear structure across priorities, tasks, and communication so nothing stalls or slips Act as the operational owner of the account, minimizing founder involvement in day-to-day decisions What We’re Looking For 2–4+ years of experience in account management or operations within an email marketing or digital agency Strong working knowledge of Klaviyo and email lifecycle marketing, with the ability to evaluate quality and readiness Direct experience working with fitness, gym, wellness, or performance-driven brands Personal interest or involvement in fitness (gym, sports, training, or similar) with a strong understanding of fitness culture and expectations Ability to evaluate creative and messaging through a fitness-first lens, including brand aesthetic and audience expectations Confident communicator who can lead demanding conversations and make decisions under pressure Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable owning outcomes Based in the United States or Canada Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) Clear ownership of account priorities and execution without constant escalation On-time launches of email campaigns with clear direction, quality control, and minimal rework Reduced execution issues caused by unclear direction or misalignment Strong internal alignment across creative and technical teams Stable, structured account operations that do not require founder-level intervention What You Get Competitive part-time compensation based on experience Ownership of a single, high-impact fitness email marketing account from an execution and direction standpoint Direct collaboration with agency leadership Clear authority and autonomy to run the account Back-end support from Mint Source, including payroll, contracts, onboarding, and ongoing admin support Opportunity to transition into a full-time role as the account scales
