As a Email Marketing Executive, you will be a key member of the Digital Product Development and wider AKA Digital team, working closely with:

  • Email Marketing Manager: Collaborate on strategy, customer journey improvements, and performance insights.
  • Data & Insights Team: Ensure CRM data aligns with sales objectives and lead management.
  • Marketing Team: Work together to create cohesive campaigns and messaging.
  • Design and Development Team: Coordinate on CRM integrations and technical

troubleshooting.
Your contributions will directly support team objectives, enhance the customer experience, and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Email Marketing Executive to support the Email marketing
manager. You will be responsible for maintaining our CRM database, creating targeted campaigns,
and analysing customer data to uncover opportunities for growth particularly within the Arts and
Entertainment sector. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to improve the
customer journey and drive impactful results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical Capabilities
    o Oversee and manage CRM platforms such as Mailjet, Mailchimp, and Dotdigital.
    o Accurately input, update, and manage customer data to ensure database integrity.
    o Design and implement CRM workflows, segmentation strategies, and campaign
    structures.
    o Analyse customer data to identify trends, insights, and actionable opportunities.
    o Create, test, and optimize email campaigns, leveraging A/B testing for
    improvements.
    o Track email performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and
    conversions.
    o Perform regular data integrity checks, deduplication, and updates to the CRM
    database.
    o Handle data import/export processes and run database queries to support

campaigns.

  • Strategic Capabilities

o Segment customer data based on behaviour, demographics, and lifecycle stages.
o Collaborate with the Email marketing manager to map and improve the customer
journey.
o Monitor customer touchpoints to identify and address areas for improvement.
o Create targeted campaigns to engage specific customer groups effectively.
