Responsibilities

THE ROLE: EMAIL MARKETING SPECIALIST

Are you passionate about crafting smart, scroll-stopping emails that get clicks and conversions? Do you thrive on juggling multiple brand voices, testing subject lines, and turning data into insights? Malouf is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to lead the charge in planning, scheduling, and executing email campaigns across multiple DTC brands and our Specialty Retail B2B channel.
This role is equal parts strategic and hands-on—you’ll be deep in the details while always thinking a step ahead. You’ll work closely with our brand marketing, content, and design teams to create email experiences that engage our customers, support product launches, and drive measurable results. You’ll also support broader digital strategy for an omnichannel brand by aligning email content with SMS and social media efforts to ensure a cohesive customer journey.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own the end-to-end email marketing process—from campaign planning to deployment to post-send analysis—for multiple DTC brands and our B2B specialty retail channel
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support promotions, product launches, educational content, and seasonal storytelling
  • Develop and manage campaign calendars across audiences, ensuring no customer group is left behind
  • Segment audiences and personalize content to increase engagement and conversion
  • Build and test emails using marketing automation tools (we use Klaviyo)
  • Analyze performance metrics (opens, clicks, conversions, revenue) and translate insights into action
  • Champion A/B testing and optimize subject lines, CTAs, send times, layouts, etc.
  • Stay ahead of email marketing trends, deliverability best practices, and privacy compliance
  • Support SMS marketing strategy and execution for a handful of DTC brands, ensuring messaging complements email campaigns
  • Contribute to integrated omnichannel efforts by aligning email, SMS, and social media strategies for consistent brand messaging
