JOB SUMMARY:

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution and optimization of email marketing campaigns across a variety of clients in the travel and hospitality space. This role will assist in building, testing, and deploying marketing and transactional email communications using a range of industry platforms. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously, while delivering accurate and visually compelling communications that drive engagement and conversions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of experience digital marketing, agency preferred
  • 2+ years of experience building and coding emails while measuring performance
  • Familiarity with email platforms such as Cendyn, Revinate, TravelClick, Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, HubSpot, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Understanding of email marketing principles, including deliverability, list hygiene, and segmentation.
  • Basic experience with Google Analytics and/or other performance tracking tools.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Detail-focused, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Able to shift priorities quickly and examine issues both strategically and tactically
  • Able to multitask, perform efficiently and well under tight deadlines
  • Able to respond positively to customer and peer feedback
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

Responsibilities
  • Support the build, QA, and deployment of email campaigns, including HTML coding, audience segmentation, and scheduling.
  • Assist in executing marketing automation workflows across channels such as email, SMS, push notifications, and chatbot messaging.
  • Perform responsive testing and render checks across devices and platforms; ensure compliance with dark mode accessibility and WCAG standards.
  • Collaborate with content, creative, and account teams to gather assets, campaign goals, and timelines.
  • Maintain and update subscriber lists; implement basic segmentation strategies to ensure message relevance and deliverability.
  • Support troubleshooting and QA of email-related issues such as broken links, rendering errors, or platform inconsistencies.
  • Monitor performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and provide support in compiling reports for internal and client review.
  • Stay current on email marketing best practices, compliance guidelines, and platform capabilities.
