Catholic Cemeteries & Funeral Services - Archdiocese of Toronto (CCFS) is an established bereavement leader. We have successfully integrated our faith, traditions, values, and strengths into our funeral homes located on our cemetery properties. In turn, we have allowed many generations of our grieving families to arrange all their funeral, burial and cremation needs in one convenient location.
We are currently seeking an exceptional Embalmer with a strong devotion to tradition, service and professionalism to join our team of outstanding professionals. If you are an exceptional Embalmer that takes pride in their professional abilities to provide families superior service, and you have the following attributes, we want to hear from you:

  • Hold a Class 1, Funeral Director License in good standing, with a minimum of 5 years of embalming experience as the primary level of responsibility.
  • Physically able to lift over 80 pounds, frequent bending, twisting, standing, and walking for prolonged periods of time; occasionally kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
  • Maintains a clean and healthy workspace, in accordance with health & safety policies and procedures as well as best practices.
  • Committed to providing excellent customer service and self motivated to work effectively and independently or as part of a team.
  • High level of compassion and integrity as well as the ability to cultivate and foster strong interpersonal relationships with co-workers for the purpose of supporting the team’s overall objectives.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with the following exceptional skills sets: communication, organization, problem solving, attention to detail, accuracy and time management.
  • A thorough understanding of the Catholic faith, beliefs, traditions, and practices pertaining to funerals, funeral Mass and burials is essential.
  • A valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License and a clear Police Clearance Record is required.
