CHANGE THE WORLD. LOVE YOUR JOB.
Kilby Labs, Texas Instruments’ (TI’s) central R&D organization, is a global organization grouped by a variety of research engineers from multiple technology disciplines to deliver semiconductor devices and solutions for future large volume products in a fast moving pace.
We are looking for an Embedded AI Research Engineer to join Kilby Labs. In this role, you will apply your AI and signal processing expertise to innovate on intelligent time series data processing approaches that address challenges and opportunities in emerging industrial, and automotive applications. You will also architect, design, simulate and prototype system solutions utilizing the new data processing approaches and work with technologists in Kilby and across TI to define and develop highly differentiated future IC products that bring new values to our customers and make broad impact.
The job involves acquiring system expertise for a given application area, designing a differentiated system architecture that create high performance, low power, ease of use, and low cost. The key building blocks typically includes analog front ends, A-D/D-A converters, signal processing and machine learning algorithms for various data analytic tasks. The engineer is expected to do system level device modeling and simulations for solutions feasibility study, define and build discrete system prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of functionality/performance and understand application needs and resource limitations. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, hard-working, results-oriented individual to contribute in an extremely talented team environment.
