As a Lead Technical Program Manager at JPMorgan, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
  • Multi year execution and delivery experience, with experience owning and managing multiple large work streams concurrently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication across all levels
  • Passionate about quality delivery, ownership and driving business change and real world impact
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves to make the right change happen and happen fast
  • Can partner, influence and thrive in a global matrixed organization – embrace collaboration
  • Creative and innovative approach to problem solving and challenge the status quo
  • Active and motivated self-learner with the ability to develop deep domain knowledge of the Payments business and the intersection with SMB and B2C marketplaces

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Exposure to Banking Settlement and Payments and/or modern payment platforms
  • Agile Product Management or Agile Product Management certifications
  • Creativity and openness to innovating established paradigms to better align with market needs
  • Ability to assimilate information and assess impact on process
  • Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence products
  • Experience with ‘Design Thinking’ in an Agile setting

Responsibilities:

  • Leading complex, end-to-end technical delivery programs and driving teams toward clearly defined business outcomes
  • Definition and execution of delivery strategy across multiple Feature Teams and aligning delivery across multiple cross technology and line of business groups to a shared vision
  • Championing Agile Delivery, embedding agile best practices and standards across the programs you lead
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders across the Product, Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance & partner organizations to positively engage the parties in the outcomes
  • Risk, prioritisation, and conflict management across the programs to remove roadblocks
  • Promote team building, training, and empowerment to ensure pace, contribution, and accountability
  • Financial & budget management for the programs
  • Reporting progress to stakeholders across a range of stakeholders, seniority, and backgrounds
