What you’ll do: "At Eaton India Innovation Center, Digital team is currently seeking a Developer to join our team! This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune. As the role of Developer for edge technologies in our center in India, you will work in domain of RTOS and will be part of diverse team of talented Embedded developers, Leads, Architects, Test engineers, Scrum Masters, DevOps engineers, and more. You will work with Leads to set your priorities, ensuring the achievement of deliverables and other milestones. Your contribution to group will be part of a global organization focused on providing reusable technology platforms and services to Eaton product teams. You have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks while adapting quickly to changing priorities. You thrive in a growth-oriented organization. "• Contribute to the firmware design and development on high-performance platform firmware based on RTOS. • Works with the Technical leads to understand the requirements and develop high quality code for firmware modules. • Develop high-quality unit / module test code and ensure appropriate test case coverage with defined Software quality metrics. • Participate in all PI/Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Retrospectives. • Active collaboration with cross functional team to ensure requirement, module integration, testing and cybersecurity alignment." Qualifications: • Master's / Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited institution required. "• Overall 3+ years of experience in the embedded domain • 3+ years of embedded system design experience in firmware design and development • 2+ years of experience in RTOS" Skills: "• Proficient in embedded C, C++ programming, Oops Concepts, Python, data structures • Good knowledge on RTOS preferably Zephyr • Demonstrated good knowledge of Embedded Firmware development with 16 Bit / 32 Bit Microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32) • Hands on experience in low level embedded software design and development including board bring-up, testing and debugging • Experience on communication interfaces as I2C, SPI, RS232/485, USB • Understanding of any Industrial protocols like Ethernet, Modbus, REST is preferable • Good hands on experience in MQTT, HTTP, Wi-Fi and Webserver • Good knowledge of GitHub, JIRA and Agile/SAFe methodologies" "• Ability to resolve issues that impact deadlines; moving rapidly to meet the demands of a fast-growing company. • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers. • Results-oriented and demonstrated record of developing initiatives that impact productivity. • Proactive and solutions-oriented with experience working in ambiguity. • Problem Solving - uses digital technology and processes to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
