Assignment Description: We are currently looking for an Embedded/Linux Developer for a consulting assignment with our client in Lund, who develops advanced network-based camera products. You will be part of an experienced team working close to the product, contributing to both the development and maintenance of an established platform. About the Assignment In this role, you will work with embedded systems, focusing on C/C++ and Linux in userspace. You will join an agile team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and technical depth are highly valued. The work is varied and includes both enhancement of existing functionality and development of new features. You will actively contribute to the product roadmap and future solutions. You will be involved in product-oriented development in Linux userspace, focusing on maintaining and improving an existing codebase in C and C++. The role includes debugging, optimizing existing functionality, and developing new features aligned with the product roadmap. You are expected to actively contribute within the agile team, participate in technical discussions, and help drive solutions forward. The role also involves working with integrations and communication between system components, for example via D-Bus, as well as handling bugs and improvements with a focus on stability and performance. Requirements: Minimum 2 - 6 years of experience in embedded development Strong knowledge of C and C++ Experience with Linux and working in userspace Experience with D-Bus Experience working in agile teams Ability to work broadly and handle varied tasks Strong problem-solving skills Meritorious (Nice to Have) Experience with Open Embedded Experience with Jenkins Knowledge of LLDP Experience with power management in embedded/Linux environments Experience with Rust Knowledge of cybersecurity
