  • Development, customization, and maintenance of embedded Linux BSPs for target hardware platforms
  • Commissioning of boards and troubleshooting hardware-software integration problems
  • Configuration and creation of Linux kernels, bootloaders (e.g., U-Boot, Barebox) and root file systems
  • Working with build systems like Yocto/OpenEmbedded or Buildroot
  • Implementation and maintenance of platform security features (Secure Boot, access control, vulnerability remediation, patching)
  • Development and adaptation of device drivers (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, etc.)
  • Analysis and resolution of system problems using debugging tools (dmesg, gdb, logs)
  • Collaboration with hardware and application teams to ensure system stability
  • Optimization of system performance, boot time and reliability
