Wavelynx is seeking an Embedded QA Engineer, to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our access control solutions’ embedded software. Collaborating closely with the engineering team, you will develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to validate our embedded systems’ functionality, performance, and security. Your meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality assurance will be instrumental in delivering superior products to our customers.
This role is open to hybrid work with 4 days in the office and 1 remote with a preference for 100% onsite at our facilities in Broomfield, CO.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, focusing on embedded software testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python for test automation.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Knowledge of security testing techniques and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with testing embedded Linux systems.
  • Familiarity with hardware-software integration and debugging tools.
  • Experience with security testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and secure coding practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Test Planning and Execution
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases for embedded software components, including readers, controllers, and kernels.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to verify the behavior and performance of embedded systems.
