REQUIREMENTS:

• HBO or WO diploma in a technical field with a software background (preferably technical such as Computer Science or Software Technology)
• 7 years of recent work experience in a similar role
• Experience with embedded software development in C, C++, other languages such as Python are a plus
• Experience using structured ways to verify quality code and unit testing
• Experience with development of Linnux, FreeRTOS or ‘bare metal’ solutions
• Fluent in Dutch and English

As an embedded software designer C/C++ you are responsible for translating requirements into module designs and code. This software is intended to control hardware and mechanical components. You work closely with our customers to deliver high-quality software. Depending on the size of the solution, you work in a small or larger team of ICT colleagues. Additional requirements such as ISO.13.485, functional safety, internet, communication, or cyber security are often challenges that you will face.
