Summary
We are looking for an “Embedded Software Developer for Secondary Radar (f/m/d)” for the “IFF/COMMS Product Development” department at the Taufkirchen site as soon as possible.
The “IFF/COMMS Product Development” department is responsible for the development and maintenance of embedded and application software for our airspace surveillance systems and state-of-the-art communication systems.
Our division supplies system solutions for air, ground and sea-based platforms for military and civilian users. Among other things, we develop IFF devices such as secondary radar, transponders and operating and display software for a wide range of radar systems.

Your Tasks

  • Development of real-time capable, multi-tasking Linux applications in C
  • Application of the defined development process
  • Creation of software requirements
  • Creation of software design artifacts and models (UML)
  • Implementation of CI / CD and unit testing
  • Maintenance of Linux-based infrastructure
  • Maintenance and customization of board support packages

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in computer science or comparable with a focus on software development or comparable
  • Many years of experience in the field of application software development (embedded) with good programming skills in C and confident handling of Linux
  • Several years of experience with network and/or bus protocols
  • First experience in the creation of software artifacts according to RTCA DO-278 / DO-178
  • First experience in Enterprise Architect
  • High degree of initiative and commitment
  • Business fluent in German and English
