TALOS is developing, deploying, and operating a unique satellite constellation that will be operational in 2025, addressing critical challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, and precision agriculture. We are expanding our team to support our vision and are seeking an
EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (M/F/D)
with knowledge in the following topics:
- Design, develop, and maintain software for embedded systems and System-on-Chip (SoC) platforms.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software performance and integration.
- Develop and debug firmware for microcontrollers and embedded processors.
- Implement and test low-level drivers, protocols, and interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
- Optimize system performance through profiling and resource management.
- Document software designs, test cases, and technical details.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and SoC design principles.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal programming.
- Knowledge of hardware interfaces and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, USB, Ethernet).
- Understanding of power management and resource-constrained environments.
- Strong English or German language skills in both verbal and written
