We develop and maintain the firmware of the Readers solution in the 2N and Axis portfolio. This team is newly formed, and we are now looking for a team member to develop and technically lead the team working on the reader solution. What will you do here as an Embedded Software Developer Technical Lead? Your main tasks will be to lead the team from a technical and architectural perspective and develop our card reader functionality, both implementing new features and maintaining existing ones. You will work in a team of five developers, with colleagues also focusing on this area. You will own the team output and be accountable for the delivery. You will mentor and foster a culture of code development. Secure development practices such as threat modeling are important to us and will be part of your daily work. Another important aspect is that everyone in the team works on their continuous learning and innovation. This is important to us, and we set aside time for it. Maybe you will be the one coming up with a cool new feature for our products, a new area to explore, or a more efficient way of working. Qualifications We believe you are a cooperative team player, can drive technical direction, and have strong communication skills. You might know a few programming languages and work comfortably with C++. We also believe you have lots of curiosity and love problem solving together with your team. We'd love to hear that you have: Practical knowledge of C++17/C++20 Leadership experience Practical knowledge of SOLID principles, clean architecture, design patterns, DevOps tools, and documentation as code Security-conscious development (threat modeling, secure coding, defensive programming) One of the following - Understanding RFID LF/HF standards — NFC, APDU, DESFire, etc. OR Understanding of BLE technology It would not hurt if you also had experience with: Zephyr RTOS writing Unit Tests Agile SW development Secure Element experience Additional Information We help you balance work and personal life. 5 weeks of vacation.
