Summary
We are looking for an “Embedded Software Developer with focus on lens control (f/m/d)” for the “Smart Sensors” division at the Oberkochen or Taufkirchen site as soon as possible.
The “Smart Sensors” division develops imaging sensors, active sensors and warning sensors. These sensors are sensitive in the visual to infrared spectral range and are used for reconnaissance and target detection in civilian and military applications.
The “Sensor Electronics and Software” team is responsible for the electronics and software of these sensors. Other teams in the division are responsible for technical management, optical and mechanical design and the corresponding sensor measurement technology.

Your Tasks

  • Development of software and hardware for camera lenses
  • Specification and selection of drive components
  • Designing and optimizing the necessary control technology for precise positioning of the optics
  • Carrying out unit tests and component tests
  • Integration of components and support with commissioning in the overall system
  • Supporting production during the start of series production

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science or comparable qualification
  • Very good knowledge of Modern C++ (min. C++14)
  • Ideally experience in hardware-related programming and real-time operating systems
  • Very good knowledge of control technology for positioning drives
  • Experience in controlling hardware, driver development and knowledge of various interfaces such as SPI, CAN, CANopen, RS232, I2C, Ethernet
  • Knowledge of Matlab / Simulink desirable
  • Experience in working with the Xilinx toolchain desirable
  • Systematic, networked thinking and independent approach
  • Team player with strong social skills and enthusiasm
  • Innovative spirit and creativity
  • Good knowledge of German and English
