We are growing our embedded software engineering capability to support the development and delivery of production-grade electronic products.
About the RoleWe are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who can take ownership of embedded software features from architecture through production. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on C/C++, Python, protocol integration, Hardware-in-the-Loop testing, board bring-up, and resolving real-world technical challenges across software and hardware.
You will work closely with international hardware and software teams to develop reliable embedded systems and production-grade electronic products.
- Core ResponsibilitiesEmbedded Software DevelopmentOwn the design and implementation of embedded software features in C/C++ for microcontrollers and embedded processors.
- Develop low-level firmware, device drivers, middleware, control logic, and application software for bare-metal and RTOS-based systems.
- Drive technical design discussions and deliver maintainable, testable, and well-documented code for production products.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers on system architecture, interfaces, and design trade-offs.
- Protocols, Integration & DebuggingImplement, integrate, and debug wired and wireless communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, Modbus, EtherCAT, BLE, and Wi-Fi.
- Characterization (Reverse-engineering) and control of challenging digital and analog communication systems.
- Perform hands-on board and system bring-up, including debugging electronics, sensors, actuators, peripherals, and battery-powered devices.
- Use debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, traces, and logs to diagnose timing, communication, and system-level issues.
- Product Development, HIL & ValidationTake end-to-end ownership of embedded software feature development, from early prototypes through validation, production, and field deployment.
- Own and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop infrastructure, automated tests, development tooling, and reliable integration and release workflows.
- Use AI-native engineering workflows to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and technical investigation.
- Customer Support & Root Cause AnalysisProvide hands-on support to customers and field technicians, investigating software, firmware, and system issues.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA), reproduce failures, and develop robust technical solutions.
- Provide hardware design or schematic-review support where applicable, and help drive practical system-level solutions.
- Required Experience & SkillsMust-Haves3+ years of experience in embedded software/ firmware engineering.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Strong professional experience with C and C++ in embedded environments.
- Strong professional experience with Python for automation, test infrastructure, tooling, or analysis.
- Substantial contribution to at least two production-grade hardware products or embedded systems.
- Practical experience implementing and debugging wired and wireless communication protocols, hardware interfaces, and battery-powered devices.
- Strong hands-on skills in board bring-up, testing, and low-level debugging across software and hardware.
- Comfort using AI-assisted engineering workflows alongside version control, issue tracking, and project-management tools.
- Professional working proficiency in English
