ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with amazing skills to master wearable devices. You will be part of the team responsible for the design and development of Empatica hardware products.
We need a passionate engineer with a good knowledge of embedded systems ranging from low-level control of sensors (both digital and analog) to the use of Bluetooth Low Energy communication (including custom profile development with data compression and security).
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an embedded software engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving the firmware that runs on our wearables. You will design, build, and maintain a stable, reliable, and extensible architecture and monitor the devices on the field. You will interact and collaborate with team members from many areas: hardware, mobile, data science, and design.
We need people who can make decisions and achieve results with total independence. In addition, we need creative people who are able to find solutions that are efficient in terms of time and resources.
