About the job you’re considering This role is at the forefront of shaping the user experience within advanced vehicle infotainment systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that all user interfaces are intuitive, responsive, and aligned with customer expectations. Your focus will span across feedback mechanisms, auditory signals, functional grouping, and feature logic to create seamless and engaging interactions. Lead the development and refinement of user interface feedback and messaging across vehicle infotainment systems. Ensure intuitive design and logical grouping of features to enhance user experience. Manage and evolve system logic to support robust and scalable infotainment functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align interface design with engineering and customer requirements. Drive innovation in HMI (Human-Machine Interface) by integrating user-centric design principles. Maintain consistency and coherence across all HMI documentation and specifications. Support validation efforts to ensure feature logic meets design intent and implementation standards. Your role You will play a key part in designing and specifying user interactions, ensuring alignment across engineering, design, and supplier teams. Your work will directly influence how users engage with vehicle features, making their experience intuitive and enjoyable. Align specifications with customer functional goals, electrical engineering requirements, and graphical assets. Design user interactions for infotainment features and provide clear specifications to internal teams and suppliers. Ensure feature logic is coherent and harmonized across all HMI-related documentation. Participate in validation activities to confirm feature logic meets design and functional expectations. Collaborate with HMI validation teams to verify implementation accuracy. Contribute to continuous improvement of HMI design processes and standards. Your skills and experience To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a strong engineering foundation, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills. Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace) from an ABET-accredited university. Familiarity with Teamcenter, NX, and VisProfessional viewer tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong command of English, including speaking, reading, and writing. Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams. Detail-oriented with a passion for user-centered design.
