For this position you have an educational background in Embedded Software or a similar field and several years of practical experience from a similar role.

Further requirements are:

  • Advanced skills with systematic embedded software development on microcontrollers such as Infineon AURIX, NXP S32K3xx and STM32
  • Experience with utilizing hardware security modules in microcontrollers
  • Good theoretical knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic mechanisms
  • Capability to translate cyber security issues at the technical level
  • Expertise in international Cyber Security regulation and standards, CEH & CISSP certifications preferred
  • Great team-player qualities and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment
  • Creative, analytical, structured, and proactive approach
  • Fluency in English. German would be a plus.

Responsibilities

In this role you are the security expert ensuring that we develop and implement secure designs in our products which protect us against all types of cybercrime techniques for hardware and embedded software.

To be more precise, your tasks will be the following:

  • Design and implementation of secure boot & software update mechanisms as well as signed application and parameters mechanisms for existing and new products
  • Defining & reviewing technical security requirements
  • Project reviews and audits within development teams
  • Vulnerabilities screening, assessment, classifying, prioritizing, and fixing
  • Carrying out Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARAs)
  • Responding to and troubleshooting security breaches
  • Team internal training and coaching
