What You'll Be Doing

• Leading a team of Embedded Linux engineers developing software for complex embedded platforms• Driving technical direction and software architecture decisions across Linux-based systems• Designing and developing robust Embedded Linux solutions in C/C++• Working closely with hardware, systems, software, and product teams• Supporting platform bring-up, integration, debugging, and performance optimisation• Contributing hands-on to software development while mentoring and growing engineers• Helping establish engineering best practices, tooling, CI/CD, and development processes• Influencing the future software roadmap for a rapidly scaling engineering organisation

What We're Looking For

• Strong Embedded Linux development experience• Excellent C and/or C++ programming skills• Previous technical leadership or team leadership experience• Experience working close to hardware in embedded environments• Familiarity with Linux platform development, debugging, and optimisation• Experience with cross-compilation environments and embedded toolchains• Strong understanding of software architecture and systems design• Comfortable working in fast-moving product development environments

Nice to Have

• Yocto or Buildroot experience• BSP development• Linux kernel or device driver development• Experience within robotics, autonomous systems, aerospace, automotive, industrial automation, or related embedded domains• Experience working within safety-critical or high-reliability environments
