Description Image One is seeking an experienced and driven Embroidery Department Supervisor to lead our embroidery production team and oversee all aspects of department operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, managing workflow, developing team members, and ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive experience operating multi-head commercial embroidery equipment, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to building a high-performing team in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and coordinate all daily activities within the embroidery department. Operate and manage multi-head industrial embroidery machines while providing hands-on leadership and support to the team. Manage production schedules and workflow to ensure orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. Establish and maintain department performance standards for productivity, quality, attendance, and accountability. Train, coach, mentor, and develop embroidery team members to improve skills, efficiency, and overall performance. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Monitor department productivity and identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and output. Coordinate with management, customer service, purchasing, and production teams to prioritize workload and meet customer deadlines. Set up embroidery jobs, hoop garments, load designs, and oversee production runs. Prepare, modify, and verify artwork using Adobe Illustrator. Ensure design accuracy, thread colors, placement, and garment specifications meet customer requirements. Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance and cleaning. Inspect finished products to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to company standards. Maintain production records and communicate department performance and production status to management. Make day-to-day operational decisions to ensure production goals are achieved while escalating critical issues when necessary. Assist with additional production and operational duties as needed. Requirements Previous supervisory, lead, or management experience in a production or manufacturing environment required. Demonstrated ability to build, train, motivate, and lead high-performing teams. Extensive experience operating multi-head commercial embroidery machines required. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator required. Experience with embroidery software, digitizing workflows, and file preparation required. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Must pass a background check.
