EMBROIDERY MACHINE OPERATOR – FULL-TIME

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (with a requirement to work overtime during busy periods)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Join our growing team as a skilled Embroidery Machine Operator and be part of a fast-paced, production environment. If you’ve got experience with embroidery machines that is preferable although full training will be given.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience operating embroidery machines (minimum 1 year) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Good understanding of different fabric types and embroidery techniques
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with embroidery software

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Embroidery Machine Operator, you’ll be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining industrial embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered garments and accessories for a range of clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate multi-head embroidery machines (e.g. Tajima, Barudan, SWF, or similar)
• Load and frame garments or fabrics correctly
• Read and interpret embroidery design files (DST, EMB, etc.)
• Perform thread changes, tension adjustments, and machine maintenance
• Inspect finished items for quality assurance
• Work with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines
• Helping out with general production tasks when needed
