SUMMARY: The Embroidery Specialist is responsible for quality checking products and insuring quantities match on client orders. This individual will read proofs and ensure that all specs are met after stitching and during the packaging of product for Namify’s clients. The job is fast paced and challenging. This position is an entry level position with heavy training. This individual will work primarily between two stations. This individual must be able to manage their own time, take direction effectively, function as a team player, and have a high desire to learn and improve processes. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Double check logos (color, placement, and quality) Package neatly and with correct corresponding order label Create minimal waste when processing embroidery Function in a fast-paced environment Effective problem-solving skills iPad and computer skills a must Follow standard processes set for each task Manage time efficiently Meet goals for each process assigned Work with management professionally to maintain quality and efficiency Ensure that all waste is reported accurately Communicate with other departments to meet customers’ needs Accept and apply feedback given by management and peers Learn multiple roles in the apparel line BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION: $14.50/per hour +$2 shift differential Immediate PTO accrual Paid holidays 2 paid experience days Medical insurance Free telehealth Free accident Insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Free life insurance 401(k) with up to 4% employer match Requirements Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States Must perform Pre-Employment drug test JOB SKILLS: Must have great communication skills Must have knowledge of computers / iPad Must have high attention to detail Experience pulling orders and packaging them preferred, but not required Warehouse experience preferred, but not required Bilingual preferred THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Swing Shift Production Manager SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday 4pm-2am WORK SPACE INFO: This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements. TRAINING: Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required. SAFETY: Namify enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe working environment. Each incumbent is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling self-aid/buddy-aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks as requested, and serving on safety committees and teams as requested. In addition, the incumbent must accept that they have responsibility for maintaining the safety of themselves and others by adhering to all written and verbal instructions, promptly reporting and/or correcting all hazards or unsafe conditions, questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to site leads and management on all safety issues.
