The Opportunity & You
Our Sydney CBD Gateway Clinic offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to become an integral member of the team and perform outstanding laboratory services for our patients. As an experienced IVF Embryologist, your role will be to support the laboratory supervisor in the lab’s day-to-day operations, productivity and efficiency.
We are looking for an industry professional who is passionate about embryology and eager to make a meaningful impact in the field of fertility. The ideal candidate will have more than two years of hands-on experience in embryology laboratories, demonstrating strong proficiency in IVF techniques, ICSI, oocyte and embryo cryopreservation, and familiarity with embryo biopsy.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform routine IVF and ICSI procedures with high proficiency
Manage cryopreservation of oocytes and embryos
Assist with embryo biopsy procedures when needed
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and RTAC regulations
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support patient-focused care
Contribute to non-procedure lab duties including stock management, equipment maintenance and documentation
Provide support to other City Fertility clinics as needed, including travel between sites
Participate in weekend and holiday rosters as per clinic requirements

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE:

Have minimum 2 years of experience in an embryology laboratory
Hold a recognised qualification in reproductive sciences, clinical embryology or a related field
Demonstrated competence in IVF, ICSI, and cryopreservation techniques
Be familiar with embryo biopsy techniques
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Current valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to support other clinics
Availability to work on weekends and public holidays as rostered
