As an EMC Engineer within Large Project Netherlands, you play a crucial role in the safety and reliability of our high-voltage infrastructure. You ensure that electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is guaranteed, so that our installations function optimally without disruptions or interference. Are you ready to make an impact?

YOUR PROFILE AND BACKGROUND

At TenneT, we are looking for professionals (national and international) who contribute to the energy transition with technical expertise and analytical insight. We expect you to have the right experience and skills to make a valuable contribution to our team and our mission. You have:

  • A completed higher education degree (HBO or WO) in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a similar technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with EMC and high-voltage networks.
  • Knowledge of relevant EMC standards and regulations.
  • Experience with simulation software such as Matlab and ATP for EMC analysis and modeling.
  • You are analytically strong and can take a helicopter view when it comes to technical issues.
  • You are accustomed to or enjoy stepping away from the drawing board and working more in a reviewing and coordinating capacity.
  • A proactive and communicative attitude, enabling you to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to be present at project sites and test facilities for inspections and quality control.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license (Category B).
Responsibilities
  • Designing and testing EMC concepts, including performing analyses and simulations.
  • Verifying and monitoring EMC guidelines within ongoing and future projects.
  • Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and external parties to integrate EMC requirements into the design and execution of projects.
  • Advising on EMC issues and acting as the primary point of contact within the project team.
  • Promoting innovation within the EMC field by working on new technologies and improvements in EMC solutions.
  • Conducting quality controls and ensuring compliance with national and international standards
