ABOUT THE JOB YOU’RE CONSIDERING

EMC test engineer (Portsmouth - ONSITE)
Capgemini is looking for EMC test engineer able to conduct EMC testing for Defense and Aerospace products and making sure product meets required EMC standards.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Able to prepare EMC test setup and execute the testing and make sure test specifications are followed in correct order.
  • Closely work with clients to understand point of focus on the testing and help investigating EMC test failures
  • Involve in Engaging with EMC test labs on behalf of clients and making sure timely closure of test schedule
  • Formally Log test setup, product condition (before, during test and after test), and creating and maintaining clear test records
  • Able to review EMC Test results and feedback consolidated view to clients on the findings.
  • Able to co-ordinate and work with testing team, help maintaining the test facilities.
  • Regularly monitor test equipment and reporting anomalies or faults
  • Familiarity with EMC testing equipment’s and standards for defense and Aerospace
  • Ability to communicate clearly/confidently and in-deal with clients
