Description
Akima Intra-Data is looking for a EMCS Technician to join our team supporting Keesler AFB. Responsibilities Operates and maintains Keesler Air Force Base Emergency Management and Controls Systems to monitor, interpret, analyze and control connected HVAC systems to minimize abnormal conditions and accomplish on-line maintenance and repair tasks. Utilizes JCI Metasys, MISSION Controls, SIEMENS and TAC INET systems to operate and monitor base heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and Water systems. Monitor base water wells and lift stations for the purpose of identifying potential problems and to disseminate information to base personnel. Acts as after-hours customer service and dispatch responsible for entering data into official logs and tracking in the Air Force Civil Engineering Next Generation IT System (NGIT). Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical and utilities systems. Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints and technical manuals. Minimum 1 year of documented experience as an EMCS Operator. Minimum 3-5 years documented experience with HVAC systems. Computer proficient on MS Office products.
