Responsibilities
  • Drive DeepL’s Comms in our headquarter region, by executing and advising on the communications strategy for our biggest region globally
  • Expand upon and maintain media and key stakeholder relations. Be our resident expert in all things AI-related in the media landscape
  • Build a roadmap for DeepL’s communication in the region, establishing strong narratives that foreground DeepL’s leadership in the AI landscape
  • Manage our local agency and support our efforts to drive our regional comms strategy
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including press releases, articles, speeches, and presentations that resonate with local audiences and support DeepL’s strategic goals
  • Own the creation of local campaigns for the DACH region, targeting media, as well as key local stakeholders
  • Uphold and strengthen the DeepL brand regionally, partnering with the wider communications team to ensure consistency and overall alignment across various touchpoints
  • Identify key speaking opportunities, while managing the events calendar and actively accompanying spokespeople to those events
  • Assist the team in tracking success metrics
  • Conduct research and analysis as needed to support marketing and communications efforts
