Description

Qualified ACA / ACCA / CTA (or equivalent) Tax experience in a large group environment or advisory firm Strong UK VAT technical background and finance system automation experience,AI, RPA, machine learning, ideally in the financial services sector Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in explaining VAT matters to non-technical audiences Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Oracle ERP is helpful A professional focused on accountability and enhancing the existing tax risk and control framework Ability to work independently and to drive a project forward to completion Highly organised, proactive, able to prioritise and manage competing demands under tight deadlines Analytical and process-driven with problem-solving skills and a risk-based approach to decision-making Collaborative team player who fosters strong working relationships within the Corporate Tax Department, wider business, advisors, and local tax authorities
