Description
In conjunction with the Director of Nursing, assesses and evaluates the clinical practices of the nursing staff. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and Assistant Nurse Manager in the assessment and identification of educational needs related to clinical nursing and patient care systems and processes; develops programs to address identified needs. Assists nursing staff with goal attainment relative to maximizing patient health, including a focus on prevention, rehabilitation, coping, death and dying. Demonstrates a high degree of professional excellence through the application of evidenced based practice. Acts a role model for Nursing staff in the attainment of clinical competence. Education Masters Degree : Nursing (Required) Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Experience 3 Years experience in progressive clinical roles (Required) General Experience and ability in curriculum development & evaluation (Required) General Experience in a Clinical Nurse Specialist and/or Nursing Education role (Preferred) License/Certifications BLS - Basic Life Support (Required) RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required) ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Preferred) _
