Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services, in partnership with Indian Health Services (IHS), is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Physician for a 1099 contract assignment at Hopi Health Care Center. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who enjoys providing high-quality emergency care while working in a collaborative healthcare environment. Start Date: September Schedule: up to Full-time hours | 12-hour shifts Contract Length: Up to 1 year with additional extension options available Location: Polacca, Arizona Facility Info: https://www.ihs.gov/phoenix/healthcarefacilities/hopi/ What You'll Do Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of conditions and acuity levels. Perform patient evaluations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans. Manage emergency department patients from initial assessment through disposition. Stabilize patients experiencing acute illness or injury. Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Order and interpret diagnostic testing, laboratory results, and imaging studies. Provide patient and family communication regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
