This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team working in Emergency Care. The Emergency Department is a friendly, exciting place to work currently undergoing a large transformational project with exciting new developments and opportunities.
We are looking for a Receptionist to work on our friendly reception desk in the Acute Medical Unit.
The successful candidate will undertake a variety of reception duties including working on our A&E, SDEC, AMU & Guildford Ward Reception and processing Patient data. You will also act as a focal point of communication between Patients, Ambulance Crews and Medical / Clinical staff.
The successful candidate will have a friendly and professional attitude, good IT and organisational skills and be able to accurately complete / input data. The successful candidate will also need to be able to deal with difficult and stressful situations with courtesy and empathy.
To provide a calm, friendly and welcoming reception to Emergency Floor incorporating A and E, Emergency Assessment Unit and Ambulatory and Emergency Care.
