The Supply Coordinator supports the Emergency Department by ensuring all supplies, equipment, and materials are available and ready for use. You are an important part of the team, serving as the main connection between the department, Supply Chain Operations, and corporate procurement, helping maintain smooth and efficient operations.
Experience with inventory, logistics, sourcing, and ordering in a healthcare setting is highly preferred. Previous experience using a pallet jack, dock board, and hand trucks is also valued.

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, and stooping
  • Good visual acuity and manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and move objects weighing 21–50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Ability to use repetitive hand movements for extended periods while entering data
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inventory control software

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience using a pallet jack, dock board, and hand trucks

Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between the Emergency Department, Supply Chain Operations, and corporate procurement.
  • Provide administrative support and excellent customer service to team members.
  • Maintain par level supplies, check expiration dates, and order/stock essential supplies.
  • Manage inventory, specialty carts/kits, and medical equipment.
  • Work with vendors to obtain and source equipment and supplies.
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, and deliveries, including off-site distribution.
  • Monitor, document, and maintain department-specific equipment and carts to ensure readiness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct environmental safety rounds to maintain workplace integrity and compliance.
