Coordinates monthly education, chief medical officer meetings, and rounding on EMS districts. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures patient safety through compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures which result in zero preventable errors. Works in collaboration with others to improve patient, employee, EMS, and physician satisfaction. Participates in the creation of a financially effective facility through the efficient utilization of resources and identification for EMS growth opportunities. Functions as a member of the team through active participation in educational coordination of EMS, staff meetings, committees, and special projects. Demonstrates and promotes the principles of relationship based care through the development of healthy relationships with EMS, patients, staff and physicians. Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience EXPERIENCE No experience required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. Frequent keyboard use/data entry. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Rare climbing.
