Description
Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total patient care as part of an EMS team and functions in the transport environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established corporate philosophy. Orients and trains transport personnel. Relates effectively with others for continuity of care; maintains positive relations with coworkers, referring and receiving organizations; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. State Driver's License must be in good standing, 3 points or less. Drives and operates specially equipped emergency vehicles to specified locations at a safe and controlled speed, in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations and standards. EMSVO Credentialing is required. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Non Degree Program Emergency Medical Technician Required Experience 1 year experience working as an EMT Required 1 year experience driving a Type III Ambulance Required Licenses Drivers License Required EMS Vehicle Operator Required Basic Life Support Required Cert Emergency Medicine Tech Required
