WHAT THE ROLE IS

The 3-Year Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) contract position with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals seeking to gain invaluable medical experience as part of the esteemed Life Saving Force. Applicants who hold a valid Class 3 Driving License, coupled with academic credentials such as ‘N’-Levels, ’O’ Levels, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma qualifications, and aspire to contribute to the Lifesaving Force upon graduation, will find the 3-Year EMT position to be an attractive proposition. Upon joining the SCDF, officers can expect to secure stable full-time employment accompanied by a compelling remuneration package. They can also stand to earn between $2,450 to $3,100, inclusive of additional monthly frontline allowances.

The eligibility criteria for the 3-Year EMT Contract role include:

  • Possesses Class 3/3A Driving License with more than 1-year validity
  • GCE ’N’ Level and above
  • Normal Colour Vision
  • Male applicants must be PES C2 and above
  • For Pre-enlistees, there will be a 5-year Minimum Term of Engagement (MTE) bond in lieu of the National Service’s obligation
