We are seeking Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Instructor Aides for the Public Safety Academy in Wayne, NJ. This is part-time, hourly position. Example of Duties: * Assist the EMT Instructors to provide instruction for emergency medical technician students * Assist the EMT Instructors in the demonstration and practice designed to develop and evaluate student skill competencies * Attend and participate in all aspects of EMT- Basic training * Assist in maintaining continuity for the training program Qualifications: * Current New Jersey Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT0-B) certification required * Instructional experience a plus * Daytime, evening and weekend availability needed The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate. Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The minimum hourly pay for this position is $16. Benefits: * New Jersey Sick Leave: Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year.
