"Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education Primary Care Paramedic Certificate from an approved educational institute Grade 12 or equivalent. Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic/Advanced Care Paramedic currently licensed in the Province of Saskatchewan. Current CPR level "C". Current ACLS and PALS. Current ITLS - Advanced. Licenses International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS) Valid Class 4 driver's license Other Education and Training Emergency Vehicle Operations training CPR/AED Provider Certification Competencies Advanced - Interpersonal skills Advanced - Communication skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to function effectively in periods of high stress/emergent situations Thorough knowledge of the SHA and EMS policies and procedures Knowledge in applicable tools and equipment Physically fit Other Information Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.
