Our service boasts a fleet of seven ambulances and one SUV, delivering critical pre-hospital 911 care across Marshall County and parts of Jasper and Grundy Counties. Adapts and adjusts the patient’s care plan according to the patient’s needs in the prehospital setting. Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of patient’s care. Carries out high quality patient care while following the scope of practice set out by the State of Iowa Public Health Department Bureau of EMS and this ambulance service. Must be able to transport a behavioral health patient utilizing an ambulance or secure car. Qualifications EMT Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Valid chauffer’s driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. Current Iowa certification as an EMT. Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser. Advanced EMT Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Valid chauffer’s driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. Current certification as Iowa Advanced-EMT. Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser.
Responsibilities
