This position is part-time (0.6 FTE), commencing as soon as possible for 12 months with possible extension Canberra Health Services (CHS) is focussed on the delivery of high quality, effective, person-centred care. North Canberra Hospital (formerly Calvary Public Hospital Bruce) and Clare Holland House are now run and operated by Canberra Health Services (CHS). This is a significant milestone as the ACT Government is moving towards delivering a new hospital on Canberra’s Northside. The new Northside Hospital will be built on the existing North Canberra Hospital (NCH) campus in Bruce. It will be a modern, state-of-the-art hospital for patients, visitors and its workforce and will provide more beds and increased services. Until then, it's business as usual at NCH, and we'll keep providing high-quality care to our patients and community. As the CMO, you will work as part of the Emergency Medicine multi-disciplinary team assisting consultants with clinical management of patients and applying medical knowledge and experience in the clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment and ongoing management and appropriate discharge of patients. Responsibilities

Work within a multi-disciplinary team to assist consultants with the clinical management of patients. Apply medical knowledge to diagnose, investigate, treat, and manage the appropriate discharge of patients in the Emergency Department.
