The Opportunity Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners. New Grads with a prior background as an EMT, ER Tech, Firefighter, or Military will be considered for the role. Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required. Current CA state license is required. The Practice Sutter Coast Hospital – Crescent City, California Level IV Trauma Center with an 11-bed Emergency Department. Annual volume of 22,000 patients with approximately 1.5 patients per hour. Facility utilizes Epic EMR. Additional resources at site include general surgery and nephrology with support from Sutter Health System. Physician Assistant training program approved by national accrediting organization and recognized by the Physician Assistant Board.
