We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Expatriate Emergency Physician to join an Aspen Medical hospital in Depok, West Java, Indonesia. This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illness, injury, trauma, and life-threatening conditions, while contributing to the ongoing development of emergency medicine services, clinical governance, and capability building within the local healthcare workforce. You will play a critical role in ensuring timely assessment, diagnosis, stabilisation, treatment, and coordination of patient care in accordance with hospital standards, Indonesian healthcare regulations, and international clinical best practices. Key Responsibilities: * Provide comprehensive emergency assessment, diagnosis, treatment, stabilization, and ongoing management of patients presenting to the Emergency Department * Respond promptly to emergency, trauma, and critically ill patients requiring immediate intervention * Perform emergency medical procedures within approved clinical privileges and scope of practice * Coordinate admissions, referrals, discharges, and patient transfers to ensure continuity of care * Participate in resuscitation efforts, Code Blue activations, disaster response, and emergency preparedness activities * Interpret diagnostic investigations including laboratory results, radiology findings, ECGs, and other emergency-related examinations * Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital standards and legal requirements * Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, ICU, inpatient services, radiology, laboratory, allied health professionals, and specialist physicians * Contribute to clinical governance activities including audits, incident reporting, mortality and morbidity reviews, and quality improvement initiatives * Support education, mentoring, and knowledge transfer initiatives for junior doctors, nurses, and local healthcare teams * Assist in the development and implementation of emergency medicine protocols, clinical pathways, and best-practice guidelines * Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, infection prevention requirements, and Indonesian healthcare regulations About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: * Bachelor of Medicine qualification * Minimum 5 years' clinical experience within a hospital or healthcare setting * Fellowship of a recognised Australian specialist medical college or equivalent international specialist medical college * Current specialist registration with AHPRA or equivalent international medical regulatory authority * Competency Certificate or equivalent evidence of successful completion of professional competency examinations in the country of origin * Clinical logbook or equivalent record demonstrating relevant professional experience and competencies * Demonstrated experience managing emergency, trauma, and critically ill patients in a busy Emergency Department environment * Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills * Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals * Commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development * Willingness to relocate to Depok, West Java, Indonesia Why Join Us? * Opportunity to work in a modern and dynamic healthcare environment delivering high-quality emergency care * Play a key role in developing emergency medicine services and supporting healthcare capability building * Work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence and patient outcomes * Exposure to a diverse and challenging caseload in an international healthcare setting * Competitive expatriate remuneration package and relocation opportunity Apply Now!
