If you’re passionate about making a difference, love working in a fast-paced environment, and are inspired by the opportunity to contribute to something bigger, this could be the role for you. * Level 3 ($97,102 - $104,628) Role Highlights The Emergency Response Coordinator supports the Operations Improvement Delivery Manager by ensuring a structured emergency preparedness and response program across Fremantle Ports. The role focuses on maintaining first strike capability, coordinating readiness and driving continuous improvement across both landside and marine operations. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:  * Coordinate the annual emergency drill and exercise program aligned to the emergency response plan and calendar. * Maintain the first strike competency framework and ensure the required internal capability level is achieved. * Assist in developing emergency response tools and documentation (e.g. plans, checklists, quick reference guides) ensuring they are current, compliant and fit for purpose.  * Support and assure first strike readiness for incidents such as fires spills, gas release and marine events whilst also coordinating scenario-based emergency response drills. * Ensure preparedness for landside operations including common user environments. * Conduct readiness inspections to confirm emergency equipment and systems are available, functional and deployable under operational conditions. What Makes You a Great Fit Qualifications and Experience: Essential * Cert III in Emergency Response and Rescue and/or equivalent experience in emergency response, emergency preparedness, or high-risk operational environments (i.e. port, mining, oil and gas, emergency services).  * Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating and delivering emergency preparedness activities including drills, exercises and equipment readiness programs. * Practical understanding of emergency management frameworks and associated obligations.  * Proven ability to verify and assure emergency readiness including equipment systems, access/egress and response arrangements for incident scenarios. * Strong understanding of emergency equipment inspection and maintenance requirements, including life-saving systems (first aid, eye wash, rescue, firefighting, spill response).  * Demonstrated capability to operate and support emergency response activities under pressure with strong situational awareness and clear communication. * Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively across operations, safety, security and external agencies.  * Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment, managing competing priorities and delivery outcomes.  Desirable * Australasian Inter-service Incident Management System (AIIMS) training or equivalent incident command system training. * Practical understanding of WA Port Authorities Act and Regulations. * Fire and Emergency Response Training Experience in emergency response team (ERT) or similar environment * Experience coordinating and participating in multi-agency emergency exercises. * Hazardous Material awareness.  * Experience working in a Marine or Port environment.  * Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122).  What We Offer Join Fremantle Ports and be part of a proud organisation with a rich history and culture that makes a significant contribution to the WA economy.
